sAMSUNG e-commerce / device activation
Device activation was this year’s top priority project for Samsung E-Commerce and I was given the role as the lead designer and owner. This project was complex on various fronts. The sheer number of pages (over 2,000) needed to be delivered in extremely tight deadlines. Not only did this project work with the typical legal channels, it also had to meet legal requirements from each carrier. The various customer journeys that one might take as they purchase and activate their device needed to be thought through and designed, specific for each carrier’s unique requirements. Here is the example of the Buy One Get One promotional customer journey. This design had to rethink the linear flow of a typical configurator and solve for two separate journeys that branch at every step.
